“Imagine saying you’re a feminist and mocking a person for the exact thing you smashed a glass at a dinner table over.”
More Married at First Sight Australia stars have called out Domenica Calarco as she continues to double down after her problematic podcast episode.
Domenica and her co-star Ella Ding interviewed controversial MAFS couple Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams on their Sit With Us podcast in May.
However, fans were shocked when the self-proclaimed feminists sided with Jack after some of his awful behaviour, including telling Jonathan McCullough to put a “muzzle” on his wife, Lauren Dunn.

Things went from bad to worse when Ella victim-blamed Lauren, claiming the bride “knew” Jack had a “temper he could be pushed to”, yet pushed him anyway.
Since the podcast went live, fans have slammed the co-hosts for their problematic messaging, with FBOY Island host Abbie Chatfield tearing the episode to shreds on her It’s a Lot podcast.
Domenica later took to TikTok in a tearful video, explaining that she’d been experiencing “severe” anxiety over the backlash.
However, more reality stars have since come forward to share their horrifying accounts of also being bullied by Domenica in the past.

“I’m sure there’s content going around of, you know, excuses and crocodile tears,” she said. “But before you believe it, I would implore you to look at a pattern of behaviour that has been displayed over the years.
“[Things like] inciting hate against somebody who’s weaker, who basically already had a lynch mob at their doorstep… who was gravely mentally unwell and take into consideration the lack of sympathy they showed that person at that time,” she recalled.
Married at First Sight‘s Lyndall Grace speaks out amid podcast drama
2023 star Lyndall Grace also spoke out, posting a scathing Instagram Story targeted at Domenica and Ella.
“Imagine saying you’re a feminist but making fun of women (in the same position you were in not 12 months earlier) for no reason other than ‘they just shit you’,” Lyndall started.
“Imagine saying you’re a feminist and mocking a person for the exact thing you smashed a glass at a dinner table over.”

The former bride then began to list off the podcast duo’s controversial takes, including claiming mindfulness can cure terminal illness, giving “publicly abusive men the chance to ‘explain their side’,” and justifying their “abusive” podcast guests by admitting it’s for “the numbers”.
“As two women I idolised going into my own reality TV stint, I’m flat-out disappointed and embarrassed. Do better, ladies,” she finished.
Married at First Sight‘s Bronte says anxiety isn’t a justification for poor behaviour
“We all have anxiety. We all have our own issues. But there comes a point where you have to look within and ask yourself if you’re part of the problem and hold yourself accountable instead of pointing the finger,” she penned.

“There are far bigger issues in this world, and you choose to use your platform to degrade women and give problematic misogynists the platform to ‘give their side’. It’s classless and disappointing.”
She finished off by stating that “people’s lives matter” and “clicks on a podcast don’t”.
MAFS’ Bronte calls out Domenica Calarco for twisting a narrative about her
One fan left a comment under a clip posted on the Sit With Us TikTok page, slamming the co-hosts for having a lot to say about Bronte in the past despite starring in the experiment themselves.
“Yep, and Bronte didn’t take accountability for anything either,” Domenica replied.

Bronte then took to the comments section to call this behaviour out.
“You got my abuser (Harrison Boon) on your pod,” she clapped back. “I’ve taken plenty of accountability for my part. You just refuse to acknowledge that because it doesn’t suit the narrative you have in your head.”
“Am I not allowed to have an opinion, Bronte,” a tone-deaf Domenica responded.
Married at First Sight‘s Domenica admits she’s been ‘picking at her skin’ due to anxiety over podcast backlash
This comes as Domenica posted a video to TikTok, admitting she’d been “picking at her skin” due to the anxiety she’d experienced over the podcast ordeal before showing off her scratches to her followers.
“It’s really scary that I’m doing this to myself,” she told her followers.
“It’s scary that this stress, this anxiety, this pressure, this feeling of failure, this feeling of not good enough, and this feeling of ‘I’ve f*cked up’ is manifesting itself in this way.”
