“The door is always open…”
Word on the street is that former The Voice Australia coach Keith Urban is considering returning to the show in 2025, and this is music to our ears.
The 2024 season of Seven’s hit singing competition will draw to a close on October 27, after current coaches Guy Sebastian, LeAnn Rimes, Kate Miller-Heidke and Adam Lambert have prepared their team members for one last showdown.
Keith is set to perform at the grand final in promotion of his new single, Messed Up As Me. However, it might not be the last time we see him in the vicinity of a red spinning chair!

One insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that Keith allegedly told The Voice‘s executive producer that “the answer was not a ‘no’” when asked if he’d return next year.
The 56-year-old — who worked on the show in 2012, 2021 and 2022 — reportedly added that he “does miss coaching and being home in Australia”.
According to the source, Keith and his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, are big on including their daughters, Sunday and Faith, in conversations about the couple’s “busy work lives”.
“After the loss of their grandmother last month Sunday and Faith are keen to spend more time with their cousins who are based in Sydney,” the insider told the outlet.
“There is also a big tour for Keith in Australia next year and if they can all be back here in the country when filming gets underway Keith might make his fourth return to the singing competition.”
‘The door is always open’ for Keith Urban on The Voice Australia
The insider continued by saying that another stint on The Voice “might be a good opportunity to have the whole family back in Australia”.
“Keith likes to keep busy and he never minded the long shoots on The Voice Australia,” they said.

“I would go as far as saying Keith has been the most relaxed and placid judge we have had. The door is always open for him and he knows that.”
We hope so!
