The Block host Scott Cam is reportedly terrified of contestant Kylie Baker after she stormed off the set last week and insisted she would not be present on auction day.

According to Woman’s Day, Scott tried to avoid Kylie at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday after his ‘traumatic’ time on the show.

‘He did see them but their exchange was brief, almost like a brush off. Scott seems to get more and more hesitant to build relationships each year,’ a source said.

The insider also claimed Scott had ‘feared Kylie would corner him off-camera at the auctions if she showed up.’

‘He was a nervous wreck in the lead-up to auction day,’ they added.

The host was also reportedly ‘frustrated’ over the show’s ‘flirtgate’ scandal, during which Kylie’s husband Brad admitted to flirting with his co-star Mimi.

Scott’s experience on this season of The Block has ‘solidified his decision to leave the show by the end of 2025’.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

Kylie and her husband Brad sensationally returned to The Block on Sunday night for auction day after the mother-of-four vowed she would never return to the Channel Nine show during a foul-mouthed tirade last week.

The controversial couple walked off the set of the show in spectacular fashion last Sunday, with Kylie unleashing a foul-mouthed tirade before disappearing into the night.

A tense exchange erupted between Kylie and Scott during the feedback when the mum-of-four interjected, ‘Alright, let’s wrap it up,’ as Scott read the judges’ critiques.

When Scott replied, ‘What’s that?’ Kylie doubled down and fumed, ‘I said, wrap it up,’ as her husband Brad attempted to cut her off.

Stunned by the outburst, Scott arced up and said: ‘Kylie, I’m not going to wrap it up, because this is part of the deal, unfortunately.

‘We’re reading out feedback, and it’s the last feedback you’re going to get from these judges on your house.’

‘I really couldn’t care,’ Kylie tried to interrupt, but Scott spoke over her in a rage, adding: ‘So I’d really appreciate it if you didn’t tell me to wrap it up.’

Kylie became visibly teary over being dressed down on national TV and muttered under her breath: ‘I f**king hate this guy,’ before exiting the show.

In recent weeks, Kylie and husband Brad saw their seven-year marriage implode on-air amid the ‘flirtgate scandal’, which saw the Cairns-based tradesman tell fellow contestant Mimi Belperio he would ‘follow’ her OnlyFans account if she had one.

The couple’s return on Sunday night sparked fierce reactions from fans, with many questioning why they were allowed back on the set.

On X, formally known as Twitter, fans voiced their concerns over Kylie and Brad’s continued involvement in the show.

‘The Block really is turning into MAFS it seems,’ they added.

‘So Kylie and Brad have come crawling back obviously for the possible $$$,’ wrote another viewer.

‘They should not be allowed to win anything, what the [expletive],’ quipped another.

‘The producer’s really are milking it,’ wrote one more, before adding: ‘Fark Kylie and Brad back again’.
