Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Timothy Smith and Lucinda Light have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid their rumoured falling out, and we don’t like this at all!

Despite failing to find love on the marriage experiment, Timothy and Lucinda’s friendship was better than any romance that came out of the 2024 season.

However, it appears the former bride and groom recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. And in social media speak, this means there’s trouble in paradise!

Not only that, but they’ve both been untagged from photos together on each other’s profiles, which is a telling sign that one of them has BLOCKED the other. Devo!

It seems like the pair unfollowed each other on June 10, as according to SocialBlade, the bubbly bride unfollowed 24 people that day. However, they also may have unfollowed each other the previous week.

Why did Married at First Sight‘s Timothy Smith and Lucinda Light unfollow each other on social media?

One of the duo’s co-stars told Yahoo! Lifestyle that they were shocked to learn that Timothy and Lucinda had unfollowed each other.

They suggested that the pair may be feuding because Lucinda has been “too busy” and has not prioritised her friendship with Timothy as much as before.

Another source said there was “a lot of resentment” towards the self-proclaimed “earth mama” amongst the cast because she was “getting the most work and opportunities” post-show.

However, they said they’d be “surprised” if Timothy were “jealous” of her. So, the jury’s still out on this one.

In light of the speculation about her friendship with Tim, Lucinda told So Dramatic!, “My doors and arms will always be open to Timbo”.

It comes after Timothy posted a clip to TikTok on June 9, telling his followers he was “cutting out” people who didn’t “respect” him.

“If people don’t appreciate or respect the time you give them, cut them out. Get rid of them,” he said.

“Time is the most valuable commodity we have… Don’t let anyone waste one minute of your life and time because if they don’t respect it, they don’t deserve to have it.”

This clip seemed to target Lucinda, given the duo likely unfollowed each other the following day. Ouch.
