The cheating drama involving The Block 2024 couple Kylie and Brad Baker has gotten so intense that they’ve now scored their own segment on the aptly titled investigative series A Current Affair.

Makes sense given that the show’s bread and butter is neighbours feuding over hedges and fences and The Block is a show about building hedges and fences.

In the segment, the controversial pair confirmed they’re back together following the almighty affair involving fellow contestant Mimi Belperio.

Speaking to ACA’s reporter Seb Costello, the couple revealed they’ve repaired their relationships and “learned some lessons” following the “flirt-gate” scandal which resulted in Kylie quitting the show. Now, with the finale creeping up, they’re back and badder than ever!

“We definitely learned some things along the way about just how much we can actually do, no matter what else has happened or is going to happen, we’re still here and we’re going to keep going,” Brad explained, with Kylie adding: “But did I learn anything?”

“I just stuck to my guns and we just have to see the ending be the ending,” she said.

The Queensland couple – who are parents of four – then confirmed they will, in fact, be making an appearance this Sunday.

“We love everyone and we want everyone to come away from this with something achievable and a good result,” Kylie said.

The Block auction day will take place this Saturday, with the season finale to air the following night.

We previously got the tip-off that the couple had reunited and were still part of The Block family when they attended the Melbourne Cup (booooo!) along with the rest of the cast.

Comments on social media were mixed, with some criticising the pair for turning up for a free bevvie and celebration when they couldn’t even complete The Block.

“So they’re pretty much getting rewarded for bad disrespectful behaviour,” one person wrote.

“Interesting to see Kylie and Brad there together. Just goes to show the breakup and storming off was all just for dramatics,” another added.

“She just comes and goes as she pleases!!!” a third wrote.

The Block 2024 finale airs this Sunday at 7pm on Nine and I can’t bloody wait for the final showdown!
