“It’s really scary that I’m doing this to myself.”
Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Domenica Calarco has broken her silence after Abbie Chatfield slammed her problematic podcast several times.
Domenica and Ella Ding interviewed controversial MAFS couple Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams on their Sit With Us podcast in May.
However, fans were shocked when the self-proclaimed feminists sided with Jack after some of his awful behaviour, including telling Jonathan McCullough to put a “muzzle” on his wife, Lauren Dunn.

Things went from bad to worse when Ella victim-blamed Lauren, claiming the bride “knew” Jack had a “temper he could be pushed to”, yet pushed him anyway.
Abbie later took to the comments of the Sit With Us Instagram page, urging the podcast duo to take down their “dehumanising” episode. She then shared her unfiltered thoughts on the interview on her It’s a Lot podcast.
On May 14, Domenica posted a series of clips to TikTok, breaking her silence after all the backlash.

Married at First Sight‘s Domenica admits she’s been ‘picking at her skin’ due to anxiety over podcast backlash
In one video, the reality star admitted that she’d been “picking at her skin” due to the anxiety she’d experienced over the whole ordeal before showing off her scratches.
“It’s really scary that I’m doing this to myself,” she told her followers.
“It’s scary that this stress, this anxiety, this pressure, this feeling of failure, this feeling of not good enough, and this feeling of ‘I’ve f*cked up’ is manifesting itself in this way.”
The former TV bride then expressed that she wasn’t trying to seek sympathy from her followers.
“I’m putting this out there to say that I’m human… I’m feeling everything. My self-esteem is at an all-time low,” she explained.
She later posted another clip telling the cameras that she’d been crying whilst getting ready for Fashion Week.
“Life keeps going. I’m going to walk out the door, and I’m going to be confident and strong and believe in myself,” she told the camera.
Abbie Chatfield tells Domenica Calarco to stop ‘victimising’ herself and ‘APOLOGISE’
Abbie later took to her Instagram story to call Domenica out for “trying to get sympathy” in her latest TikTok posts.
“The insensitivity makes everything so much worse,” the Bachelor breakout star asserted.
“[Domenica and Ella] are f*cking pathetic. It makes me so angry. To victimise yourself when you’ve triggered and upset victims. And to not apologise… That’s deplorable behaviour.”

The 28-year-old then called Domenica and Ella out for using “feminism” as their selling point for their podcast.
“This is what these fake feminists do when they use feminism as a marketing ploy, [then] get called out for doing things that are blatantly f*cked,” she continued.
“They turn themselves into the victim and cry on [social media] and say: ‘I’m just having a really anxious day, guys’.
“Maybe you’d have some of that anxiety alleviated if you apologised and admitted that you f*cked up.”
