It was recently claimed some participants had earned over $200k.

It turns out the Married at First Sight Australia 2024 cast’s real post-show earnings aren’t as dazzling as we were initially led to believe.

ICYMI: the experts over at NZCasino claimed in early August that the 11th season’s participants were making bank after being busy with speaking tours, nightclub appearances, merch lines and brand deals.

And given the social media success of past MAFS stars, it was defs believable that the latest batch of reality stars-turned-influencers could be totally cashed up off the back of their TV fame.

The big ol’ sums ranged from Lucinda Light allegedly making a whopping $221,374 to Ben Walters cashing in just shy of $8,000 since appearing on the show.

However, as reported in episode 408 of the So Dramatic! podcast, several 2024 participants have slammed NZCasino’s data as inaccurate.

“Where are these numbers coming from? I haven’t made anything,” one participant told So Dramatic!.

MAFS participant says ‘most people haven’t made anything’ post-show

Another Married at First Sight 2024 star dished that “these numbers are so far off from the truth”.

“Most people from this season haven’t made anything from the show,” they claimed. “Influencer deals and brand collabs have been few and far between. Lauren [Dunn] and Sara [Mesa] have done a handful, and Lucinda has probably made the most with her speaking tours.

“But overall, barely any of us have made any money. Such a load of BS.”

Meanwhile, Richard Sauerman told So Dramatic! that he’s made zilch on social media since MAFS.

Natalie Parham reported similarly, confessing that she hasn’t made a cent off her appearance in the marriage experiment.

Sounds like appearing on MAFS isn’t as lucrative as it’s been in past years!
