Insiders previously said the pair had been sliding in to each other’s DMs.
Abbie Chatfield and her former TV flame Matt Agnew have addressed whether they rekindled their romance after The Bachelor Australia 2019 finished airing.
Abbie, who has gone on to become a major media star, will be the first to tell you she was heartbroken on that fateful day Matt dumped her in favour of his now-ex Chelsie McLeod in the Bachie finale.
However, the pair have come good in recent years, which resulted in a bunch of rumours they’d given their romance a second shot.

In 2021, sources told So Dramatic! that Matt had slid into Abbie’s DMs after the pair banded together to dispel anti-vaxxers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed the duo tagging the same locations in Instagram posts around the same time.
While news of a brief rekindling of love would make our hearts sing, Abbie and Matt have denied revisiting their connection on The Bachelor.
What did The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield and Matt Agnew say about the dating rumours?
During the September 2 episode of Abbie’s podcast, It’s a Lot, she and Matt chatted about how their friendship has developed since The Bachelor.
The FBOY Island host revealed that she felt Matt hated her. So they caught up six months after The Bachelor’s finale to clear the air.
“I hate that you had to carry that idea. There was never any animosity from my side,” Matt expressed.
The duo then laughed about rumours they’d struck up romance 2.0, with Abbie joking that the speculation was very “funny”.
So, case closed, we guess?!

Just as Abbie and Matt’s friendship has evolved, the reality star’s personal relationships have, too!
Abbie hard-launched her relationship with Peking Duk frontman Adam Hyde in June. Meanwhile, insiders tell So Dramatic! that Matt is dating TikTok sensation and author Esmé Louise.
