TV networks are battling it out to secure the viral dancing sensation!

Australian breakdancer Rachael “Raygun” Gunn is currently juggling “multiple” reality TV show offers following her viral performance at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

For those playing catch-up, Raygun’s less-than-impressive display at the Games resulted in her becoming an international meme for all the wrong reasons.

Her sudden internet fame led to reports that Network Ten is “very interested” in recruiting the university lecturer for the next season of I’m a Celebrity.

However, Ten may have a battle (pun intended!) on its hands following news that several Aussie networks want to lock Raygun into a deal.

“The future of one of the world’s most talked about Australians, Raygun, is currently being negotiated with multiple TV offers,” an Australian executive producer told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“Rachael Gunn is close to securing a lucrative network deal any day now. Which could determine which ‘celebrity’ reality show the notorious breakdancer will appear on, as Channel Nine, Network Ten and Channel Seven battle it out.”

The source said Raygun is “one of the most sought-after names in the business right now”.

“The TV networks don’t want to share her either,” they added. “They are looking for ‘exclusive-network-deals’ that could be 12 to 24 months long. Blocking out other opportunities from competing programming.”

A close friend of Raygun told the outlet that “there is also more to this 36-year-old woman than just a viral sensation”.

What TV shows might Raygun be appearing on?

So, what shows might Raygun appear on? According to Yahoo Lifestyle‘s insider, the list is endless!

“There is no doubt the world wants to know more about her story and there is a real thirst to get her on one of these ‘celebrity’ reality shows. However, nothing is done yet,” they confessed.

“It usually comes down to dollars, but maybe Raygun will be more strategic than that.”

Meanwhile, a talent manager said: “Channel Nine could put her on The Summit? Network Ten could put her in the jungle or on Amazing Race? Even Seven could get her on Dancing with the Stars. Heck, she could save SAS Australia.

“It will depend on the network she signs with.

“If she plays this well? We could be seeing a hell of a lot more than her breakdancing,” they concluded. “You have to strike while the iron is hot, and at this stage, Raygun is a bit of an enigma, and to be fair, that is working in her favour.”
