“I didn’t for a million years think I could make it on Survivor, let alone win the bloody game.”
Feras Basal has been crowned the winner of Australian Survivor 2024, making him the first-ever Arab Australian to become Sole Survivor.
After 47 days in Samoa, Feras faced off against Caroline Courtis as they pleaded their case to the jury, who unanimously voted him as the show’s winner — and the recipient of $500,000 prize money.
Speaking of his landslide win in the March 19 finale, the Sydney-based HR manager said being “the first Aussie Arab to win Survivor is such a huge flex”.

“To show off my culture and to show everyone where I’ve come from and my community is such a huge achievement. I’m so proud of myself,” he confessed.
“I am absolutely over the moon. I didn’t for a million years think I could make it on Survivor, let alone win the bloody game. I’m literally still shaking.”
What happened during the Australian Survivor 2024 finale?
During his jury pitch, Feras said his win was his “chance to show [his] parents that there are so many ways to make it in Australia”.
“It would make me so proud to represent my community as the first Middle Eastern man to win Australian Survivor.“
Unlike other years, the grand finale of Titans V Rebels only featured two contenders at the final Tribal Council.
This came after Mark Warnock was knocked to the jury following the final three votes.

Congratulations, Feras!
