“What the Islanders get up to this season is 1000 per cent X-rated.”
Love Island Australia 2024‘s spicy new twist, “Hotel Amor”, is set to cause “MAJOR fallout”. But what exactly is it?
For those needing a lil’ refresh, Casa Amor is a separate villa where either the male or female Islanders meet a tempting group of new bombshells, whilst the opposite sex remains at the OG accommodation.
Whilst it’s arguably the best part of the dating show, Casa Amor hasn’t been part of the Australian franchise for the past two seasons. Boo!

However, as teased in the trailer, the upcoming season will feature “Hotel Amor“, which has “never been done anywhere in the world”.
In fact, when host Sophie Monk first heard of the twist, she reportedly asked, “Can we actually do this?”.
What is Love Island Australia 2024‘s ‘Hotel Amor’?
According to Daily Mail, “Hotel Amor” is a “world first” in which the Islanders “swap partners and spend a night in a hotel room with NO cameras.”
This “X-rated twist” allows participants to “hook up and partner-swap” in secret, causing MAJOR “fallout.” Ooft!
Some couples reportedly took “full advantage” of this, causing more drama and “mind manipulation” than ever before. And we CAN’T wait!
“The upcoming Love Island Australia series has a twist that’s had Nine checking the Broadcasting Code of Practices,” one source dished.
“What the Islanders get up to this season is 1000 per cent X-rated and will have viewers more involved than ever before.”
Unlike Casa Amor, where cameras document the Islanders’ every move, neither the cast nor the viewers will know what really goes down in Hotel Amor.
“[It’s] a daring idea. Producers have taken a huge risk to relinquish their power and turn off their vision,” the source spilled. “The producers won’t see everything that these participants get up to. Which has paid off in many ways.”
And we can’t wait to see the chaos unfold!
Love Island Australia 2024‘s ‘Hotel Amor’ will cause Islanders to question their partners
The source added that the “fallout” has been “wild” as the cast has questioned “what kind of kinky, X-rated and perverted behaviour their partners have gotten up to”.
“What the mind can imagine is much worse than what usually has happened. The can of mind manipulation has taken the game to another level,” they said.
The shocking twist has been so successful that producers are set to add it to other international versions.
And bring on the drama!
