More telling clues have emerged that Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding‘s friendship may be on the rocks.

Sources previously told So Dramatic! that Ella has been trying to “distance herself” from Domenica since their controversial podcast episode with Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams.

“Ella doesn’t seem too happy about how Domenica has left her to pick up the pieces on her own and hold down the fort,” a source close to Ella dished at the time.

Meanwhile, another insider claimed that Ella “has a big problem with Dom’s work ethic”.

As revealed in episode 406 of the So Dramatic! podcast, things still seem rocky between the pair.

Ella hasn’t publicly shared any support for Domenica since she returned to social media after her mental health retreat. The besties also haven’t been liking or commenting on each other’s posts.

Not only that, but Domenica is yet to return to their shared podcast Sit With Us, which Ella has been hosting on her own.

Domenica also removed the podcast from her Instagram bio, sparking speculation she’d quit.

However, the former TV bride shut down these rumours during a solo intro in a recent Sit With Us episode, telling listeners the episodes would be pre-recorded as she took time to heal and that she’d “chat with [them] soon.”

In their Sit With Us Facebook group, Domenica and Ella set the record straight on the state of their friendship,

“Don’t listen to the noise, guys,” Domenica wrote.

Ella chimed in, stating she didn’t know people were questioning whether they were friends.

“I didn’t even know people were saying things. That’s how much I do not let the noise effect [sic] me,” she wrote. “Dom and I are both [having] our own journeys, and we know to never listen to noise.”

She then urged her fans to “protect [their] energy”.

“My healer recently said that they will throw rocks, and I will build my house with their rocks… So don’t believe what you guys hear/read in the ‘media outlets’. Surely we know this by now.”
