“He was flirting with her and making a move.”
The Block 2024 is going to be rocked by a HUGE cheating scandal when Kylie Baker catches her husband, Brad, with a female co-star.
As revealed by So Dramatic!, the couple, who’ve been together for nine years, married for seven and share four kids, completely separated after quitting the show at the end of the season.

Woman’s Day also reported that a series of explosive messages between Brad and another co-star were unearthed after a night of drinking, leading to the demise of his relationship.
Kylie also told her friends she wouldn’t “mention her former neighbour by name ever again”. Yikes.
Well, now we’ve got the tea on what really went down and buckle up!
As revealed in episode 423 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Brad cheats with Mimi Belperio, which is why Kylie QUIT the show. WTAF?!

But despite past reports, there weren’t any text messages involved.
The Block‘s Brad also CHEATED on Kylie before filming
For context, this wasn’t the first time Brad had been unfaithful to his wife.
“Kylie comes across as grumpy on the show because she caught Brad cheating before filming started,” one source told So Dramatic!.
“She tried to quit the show before it started but was talked into continuing because of the contract.
“She stomped around saying, ‘I don’t want to be here’ the whole time, and then she caught him cheating with Mimi, so she walked out and refused to keep filming.” And suddenly, her on-screen behaviour makes sense!

According to our source, this is why Kylie has appeared so “disconnected” on the show.
“She was just trying to get through it, and it was hard, given everything that had happened.”
The Block‘s Kylie walked in on Brad in a ‘compromising position’ with Mimi
Another insider told So Dramatic! that Brad and Mimi “didn’t hook up”, but they did something that “crossed a line” in Kylie’s eyes.
“Towards the end of the season, around week eight, the cast were having drinks, lots of drinks actually,” the insider recalled.
“Kylie walked in on Brad in a compromising position with Mimi. They weren’t doing anything physical. They were flirting and being a little too friendly. But the fact everyone was drunk didn’t help the situation.”
Even though he didn’t “physically cheat” on Kylie, it “triggered emotions” because of his past infidelity, causing her to “overreact”.
The source said no “texts” were involved, despite previous reports. However, upon reading the news stories, Kylie “started to spiral and think there were texts she didn’t know about”.
“But no, it was just that drunken incident,” the source insisted.
“That’s when Kylie decided she was done. She left the show, refused to film the communal space because she didn’t want to be around Brad and Mimi, and didn’t return. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
She also “refused” to play along with production, “covered” the cameras “with her hands” whilst filming and became “really unruly”. And who could blame her!
How did The Block‘s Kristian feel about Mimi’s cheating scandal?
According to the source, Mimi’s hubby Kristian Belperio “didn’t have an issue” with her involvement in the “cheating scandal” because she “didn’t do anything wrong”.
However, he was “angry” at Brad for “making a move on his wife”. And we don’t blame him!
“It was Brad flirting with her and making a move. It wasn’t reciprocated from her end,” they spilled. Sheesh.

“However, Kylie hasn’t spoken to Mimi since, has blamed her for the whole thing and has told people she hates her, which isn’t fair.”
Insiders claim The Block 2024‘s cheating scandal won’t make it to air
Another insider told So Dramatic! that the cheating scandal may not air because there has been “too much negative backlash towards the show”.
“They’re planning to make it look like Kylie walks out because the judges keep giving them low scores. When really, she walked out because of the drunken incident with Brad and Mimi,” they explained.
The insider added that it was a “bad look” for The Block to have a “cheating scandal”, especially given how much fans had criticised the cast’s poor behaviour this season.
“I’ve heard they had to re-edit a lot of the show and tone things down to make it more palatable for the audience,” they finished. And did somebody say damage control?
So Dramatic! has contacted Nine, Brad, Kylie, Kristian and Mimi for comment.
