The Block stars Brad and Kylie Baker’s relationship status has been revealed after their marriage was rocked by a shock on-set ‘flirtgate’ scandal.
The married couple were involved in bombshell scenes on Monday which saw Kylie quit production after her husband Brad ‘flirted’ with their co-star Mimi Belperio.
Brad confessed to making ‘inappropriate’ comments towards Mimi, who is married to Kristian on the show, over a drink while his sleeping wife Kylie was within earshot.
Brad later said he believed his marriage was ‘done’ and that he had ‘single-handedly destroyed my family’ with his actions, after Kylie suddenly abandoned production.
A devastated Kylie seemingly flew home to Cairns to be with her and Brad’s four kids after revealing how her husband had told Mimi that he would ‘follow her OnlyFans‘.
Despite the drama leaving their marriage ‘in tatters’, Daily Mail Australia understands that Brad and Kylie are still together and are working on their relationship.
‘Kylie and Brad have been spending months working on their marriage,’ a TV insider exclusively confirmed.
‘The Block shoot left their relationship in tatters and they had been preparing themselves for Australia to see what everyone has been whispering about.’

‘A lot of water has gone under the bridge and Kylie has chosen to stand by her man,’ a friend of Kylie’s continued.
‘Brad and Kylie are together and that is really all Australia needs to know.’
A source close to Kylie claimed Brad has been caught doing ‘disrespectful behaviour’ before, but said Kylie doesn’t have to share her reasons for forgiving her husband.
Mimi and Kristian, who are also still together, hinted that Kylie and Brad are working on things as they broke their silence at Channel Nine’s Upfronts on Thursday.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the newlyweds insisted there is no tension between them and Kylie and Brad, adding that they saw the couple a week before, hinting at their relationship status.
‘There’s no tension. We saw them last week and I spoke to him. Yeah. But there is nothing going on,’ Mimi shared.
Meanwhile, an insider claimed the drama which unfolded on screen is ‘highly edited’ and reminded viewers that the flirting scandal was filmed over six months ago.
‘What Australia has seen now is a version of what happened,’ they went on.
‘It is highly edited and before you judge everyone’s actions I think it is fair to say that there has been some TV magic but more importantly viewers should know they are watching something that happened six months ago.’

Insiders also claimed that Kylie and Brad were hoping the drama would be ‘toned down’ in the final edit for the sake of their four children and didn’t know what would appear on screen.
‘I don’t even think Kylie and Brad were of the belief that this storyline was going to be buried by producers but for the sake of their children they were hoping it would be toned down,’ one shared.
‘However, there is no producer in this country that is going to cover up a storyline like this for the sake of saving everyone from the embarrassment of that situation.’
A friend of the couple claimed the situation had been ‘badly handled’ and that Kylie and Brad should have been able to preview the final edit before it was publicly aired.
A source close to Nine also alleged there were concerns behind the scenes about duty of care, with the cameras still rolling as late as 2am.
‘This was brewing for a while and everyone working on the show knew that this was going to come to a head if their late night rendezvous were to continue to happen,’ they claimed.
‘There are camera men still recording till 2am for a reason. It is to catch these sort of moments.
‘Some crew thought creating an environment of drinking and late night hangouts was allowing the two contestants to be in dangerous situations.

‘A lot of people working on the show had foresight that things would eventually happen.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.
On Monday night, Kylie left production and seemingly flew home to Cairns after overhearing her husband ‘flirting’ with fellow contestant Mimi.
The drama kicked off when Mimi and Brad got chatting while having a drink at his home as Kylie slept within earshot, with Brad admitting he had crossed a line with his remarks.
‘I said some pretty inappropriate comments. I was flirting with Mimi… Kylie overheard them, and understandably she’s quite upset,’ he later explained.
During a subsequent phone debrief with her mother, Kylie revealed exactly what went on during the shock conversation between her husband and Mimi.
‘Flirting, plus talking really inappropriately. How many f**king chances have I given him? Time after time,’ she told her mother.
Kylie then revealed one of the devastating comments her husband made during the flirty exchange.
‘Oh, you know I’d follow your OnlyFans,’ the electrician and plumber allegedly told Mimi, within earshot of his ‘napping’ wife.

She also alleged Brad was ‘bitching’ about her during the conversation and claimed it had ‘happened before’.
Kylie immediately left the show, with host Scott announcing her departure from the building site the next morning, and she’s not been seen since.
‘We found her car, Block phone, all the hi-vis … we’ve done everything we can to locate her and she has not been seen,’ he said.
Kylie abandoned her vehicle at 2:34pm that day, taking only her handbag with her, with Brad speculating that Kylie had returned to Cairns to be with their children.
A message recorded on Kylie’s Block-supplied phone seemed to support his theory as she admitted her marriage was ‘breaking down’.
‘Alright, so I’m saying goodbye. I can’t be on national television having my marriage breaking down. So I’m going home, and I can’t say I’ll be returning,’ she tearfully announced in the message.
‘You can talk to Brad about the details, but unfortunately I can’t do it anymore. Thank you for the opportunity and I’m sorry I can’t stay until the end, I’m just not strong enough anymore.’
Speaking with producers later, Brad admitted he believed his marriage was ‘done’.
‘I’m embarrassed, and I feel sorry for other people having to live with my choices. She’s the last person I want to hurt – her or my kids or my family. But I managed to do it anyways. There’s no way this is going to go away or get better. It’s done,’ Brad said.
‘I’d very much say that I’ve just single-handedly destroyed my family.’
Mimi and Kristian (pictured on Thursday), who are also still together, recently hinted that Kylie and Brad are still together as they told how they had seen the couple just a week ago
Breaking their silence on the scandal, Mimi and her husband Kristian told Daily Mail Australia that flirting had occurred but said they had put the infidelity behind them.
‘Our relationship is stronger than ever,’ Kristian claimed when asked about the scandal involving his wife.
‘The thing with the show is that everything we’ve done has happened in the past. We’ve learned from everything that we’ve been through, and we’re better for it,’ Mimi added.
‘So, when it happens, it’s happened in the past. Yeah. It doesn’t really bother me.’
‘It took coming out of The Block to be like, “Okay, let’s reflect on our experience and what have we learned from this”,’ Mimi added.
