‘s Bronte Schofield was allegedly in talks to appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2024 before being stopped by Channel Nine.

Bronte, who was matched with Harrison Boon in the marriage experiment, was reportedly offered a “five-figure” deal to appear on the Channel Ten series.

However, per Daily Mail Australia, the 29-year-old’s appearance was halted by Nine due to her MAFS contract.

The network’s strict contract condition stipulate that cast members are prohibited from appearing on any other reality shows for 12 months.

Now, sources close to Bronte have revealed that she’s “super angry and p*ssed off” about the decision.

“She considered going full rogue and appearing on the show, but was worried it wasn’t going to be a good look and Channel Nine would legally come after her,” an insider told Daily Mail Australia.

Bronte also told the outlet that I’m a Celebrity wasn’t the only show Nine stopped her from appearing on.

“They wanted me to do that and Celebrity Amazing Race with my sister Kirra, but that was due to her contract [with Love Island Australia],” she explained.

“There’s been a few offers for shows, [it’s] just been about timing and contracts.”

Bronte then put Nine’s decision down to fellow MAFS alum Domenica Calarco‘s appearance on I’m a Celebrity in 2023.

“I think the reason — this is just what I heard — was Domenica just went ahead and did it anyway and didn’t get permission from Nine, and they were really mad, apparently,” she said.

But MAFS participants are known for going rogue, so we guess it comes with the territory!
