An insider has revealed that Deborra-Lee had a feeling about Hugh Jackman’s Broadway co-star, Sutton Foster.

Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness was ‘suspicious’ of his relationship with his former Broadway co-star and rumoured girlfriend Sutton Foster when the pair first started working on The Music Man from December 2021 to January 2023. Hugh and Deborra-Lee announced they were divorcing in September 2023 after 27 years together.

Sutton also announced she and her screenwriter husband, Ted Griffin, were divorcing this month, with rumours about her and Hugh going into overdrive ever since. Now, an insider has revealed that Deborra-Lee had a feeling about the pair.

“Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton,” they told Mail Online. “Their relationship is not a secret to her.”

The source says that Deborra-Lee had concerns when Hugh and Sutton teamed up for the Broadway show.

“Deborra-Lee wants to be left out of this narrative,” they added. “She is not going to address this or speak against Hugh. When they divorced, they agreed to keep everything that happened during their marriage private.”

Now, a source has claimed to Page Six that Hugh and Sutton are “in love” and inseparable but have been careful to stay out of the public eye.

“They spend all of their free time together,” the insider claims. “They are a regular couple, they are just in private.”

The source adds that the couple “sneak around” to avoid being caught in public.

Another insider previously told the publication, “They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

“They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge,” a source said.

Sutton previously told Vogue in 2022 what it was like to work with Hugh, saying, “He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest-working man, incredibly kind, and generous — and all of that is true. He disarms everyone, and he doesn’t make anything about him.”

She added, “He’s now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise, because you usually go into these things thinking, ‘Well, I hope we get along.’ But we just spent Memorial Day with our families. It’s really fun to meet new friends after 40.”
