Taking to Instagram on October 16, the mum-of-one said their holiday was “an unexpected series of events”, beginning with a “very scary health scare”.

“From chasing sunsets to ambulances… Throughout everything, our little family is closer than ever,” Courtney wrote.

“It definitely wasn’t on my Bali bingo card to catch a parasite and end up in hospital. A very scary health scare for me, and Jack literally saw some sh*t.

“He thought labour was full-on, but let’s say this explosion left no secrets between us.”

She added that she is “glad to be able to laugh it off now”. However, it was “beyond scary” to be “having seizures” while “not being able to contact an ambulance”.

“I was anxiety-filled for the rest of our trip, simply eating and drinking after the experience,” Courtney continued.

“Having access to drinkable water and hygiene is something I have definitely taken for granted!”

Love Island‘s Courtney Stubbs urges travellers to ‘know where the nearby hospital is’

Given her experience, the Love Island star urged her followers to know where their “nearby hospital is” in Bali.

“Also, know a nearby driver who can get to you quickly and take you to the hospital. The ambulances are unreliable and extremely hard to get in contact with,” she explained.

She then detailed the “very confronting” experience of finding an injured man, Nariman Vaziri, following a moped accident”.

Courtney said he was “on the side of the road unresponsive and bleeding from his head/face”.

“After getting him to the hospital, the hardest part was trying to find his parents so he could receive the life-saving surgery he needed. Timing was everything,” she revealed.

“Thank you so much to everyone who came together on our social media platforms to help us find his family. The amount of time that was saved has saved his life, regardless of the outcome from now.”

Courtney then put a call out for people to donate to Nariman’s GoFundMe, as he is “in a coma, critical condition”.

Despite the scary incidents, the reality star said she and Jack will still look back fondly on their Bali trip.

“We did create beautiful memories that will forever be cherished, even if the holiday didn’t quite go to plan!”
