It’s been seven months since this year’s season of Married At First Sight finished airing on TV and the cast became free to do whatever they wanted with their newfound ‘celebrity’ status. While some participants like Ridge Barredo and Jade Pywell have simply been enjoying life in their loved-up bubble, others like Lucinda Light have managed to profit off their sudden fame and tour around the world.
Fan-favourite bride Eden Harper is the latest cast member to launch a new business following her stint on the reality show and has teamed up with her brother to launch their brand CUB. The online retailer, named after Eden’s adorable golden retriever Cub, sells a unique range of premium pet products.
CUB’s debut collection will launch on November 6th featuring a collection of dog beds in five core colours and three sizes alongside customisable collars and leads.
“I’m really excited about our collection because our beds are more than just a place to sleep – they’re designed with every dog parent’s needs in mind,” Eden tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
“We’ve got a removable inner cushion that’s perfect for travel or as a crate mattress, plus a machine-washable cover because we all know how dirty our dogs can get. And the waterproof liner keeps accidents from seeping into the foam, which is made of orthopaedic memory foam that’s super durable and maintains its shape.”

How CUB aims to solve a common problem for pet owners
Eden adds that she knows firsthand how important it is to have a dog bed that blends in with your home’s aesthetic rather than standing out, which is a common problem for pet owners.
“I love my house to look pleasing to the eye, and I know I’m not the only one! So we’ve picked five neutral shades that can suit the aesthetic of any home,” she details.
“My favourite part is that each of our items comes in the same five colours, meaning you can get a collar, lead, bed and more all in the same matching shade.”
The collars and leads are also made from vegetable-tanned leather and antique brass hardware, with the option to personalise by embossing the dog’s name into the collar.

Eden shares inspiration behind new business
Eden, who split from her on-screen ‘husband’ Jayden Eynaud shortly after the show finished airing on TV, says the business idea was sparked from her love of dogs – which was well-documented on MAFS.
“I’m always on the hunt for functional products that also look great on Cub, and I wanted to create something that reflects that passion,” she explains.
“It’s all about making life better for our pets while keeping our homes stylish! This also gave me the opportunity to work with my brother Matt, who has a wealth of experience in e-commerce which was a perfect way to combine our skills.”
With CUB’s debut collection set to launch on November 6, Eden teases that she and her brother have “big plans” for the future of the business.
“This is just the beginning for our brand!” she says. “I’m excited to create even more unique products. I also want to explore different product categories to give dog parents everything we need for our cubs while making sure that each product is both stylish and practical.”
