‘s Melissa Rawson has shared an emotional update about her family’s move to the Gold Coast.

ICYMI: In early October, Melissa revealed on her blog, Her Second Shift, that she and husband Bryce Ruthven, along with their three-year-old sons, Levi and Tate, would be moving from Melbourne to the Sunshine State.

The move was spurred on by the family’s ongoing health struggles — which the former TV bride attributed to poor Melbourne weather — as well as the decision to keep Bryce’s grandfather company in Queensland after the death of his wife.

However, Melissa has since taken to Instagram to reveal that their new life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

The 35-year-old detailed their disastrous first week since moving, including cancelled flights, missing a funeral, new home issues and her dog needing surgery.

“We’ve been on the Gold Coast for a week now, and nothing has gone right,” she started.

Melissa explained that she had missed a funeral after two airlines cancelled their flights, which left her “emotional and angry”.

On top of this, her diagnosed ADHD has caused her to struggle with organising their new house.

Melissa Rawson admits she doesn’t ‘ask for help’

The Married at First Sight star went on to tell followers about how she’s finding it hard to keep in touch with loved ones.

“If I’m not fighting with family, I’m fighting with friends because I don’t answer my phone and can’t communicate and I don’t ask for help,” Melissa admitted.

She also said she’s struggling with her twin sons since they’ve been out of daycare for seven weeks.

“It’s like they turn three and a switch has been flicked and they whine and scream,” she explained.

Despite the struggles, Melissa opted to remain positive about the time ahead.

“We just moved here, It will get better,” she mused.

In the comment section, fans empathised with Melissa, with one confessing “it’s been a week” for them as well.

“All that’s keeping me going is someone telling me I’m doing a good job so I’m telling you… you’re doing a good job!” they wrote.
