The challenge involved jumping over a rotating square into a mud pit. Upon landing, both Jackie and her co-star George Mladenov were injured.

Jackie wasn’t able to continue competing on the show and was diagnosed with a broken collarbone and ligament damage.

This also led to the development of thoracic outlet syndrome. She is claiming it has restricted her movement in her arm and shoulder and caused ongoing pain.

Per the outlet, Jackie is seeking compensation for damages, past and future earnings loss, and medical expenses.

Arnold Thomas & Becker filed the court documents on Jackie’s behalf. They allege that the 30 cm mud pit wasn’t deep enough to provide a safe landing and should’ve been one and a half metres.

It was also alleged that the dirt beneath wasn’t broken up enough to provide support upon her landing.

Since her stint on the show, Jackie has struggled to complete everyday duties, such as household chores. She also claims the injury has posed long-term impacts on her health and poker career.
