Contestants of The Block are reportedly furious about a ‘secret clause’ that may allow quitters Kylie and Brad Baker to keep some money, despite fleeing the show.

During Sunday night’s shock episode, Kylie stormed off set and said she was done, in the aftermath of the ‘flirtgate’ scandal involving her husband Brad and fellow contestant Mimi.

However, it has now emerged that there is a clause in the contestants’ contracts that allows them to retain any profits from their property at the upcoming auction, despite their departure from the show – and others are said to not be happy.

‘If that property sells for over the price guides and they haven’t attended the auction – most of the other contestants think they shouldn’t be able to collect any of the money,’ an insider told Yahoo Lifestyle.

Meanwhile, an anonymous contestant revealed that Kylie and Brad left their property incomplete, which was subsequently finished by their builders.

This contestant argued the couple should not be entitled to profit from it.

‘There was a lot more that needed to be finished by Channel Nine after the couple quit the show,’ they stated.

‘House Four was the least completed property and other builders finished it off and made a lot of the remaining decisions. It seems unreasonable not to finish your house and still be eligible for the same percentages.’

On Sunday, Kylie Baker’s journey on The Block came to an explosive end, with the hairdresser spectacularly clashing with the show’s judges, host Scott Cam, and even her own team of tradies.

In recent weeks, Kylie and husband Brad saw their seven-year marriage implode on-air when the Cairns-based tradesman told fellow contestant Mimi Belperio he would ‘follow’ her OnlyFans account if she had one.

In a dramatic lead-up to the final round of judging on Sunday night, tensions reached boiling point when Kylie ordered her team to stop work just hours before the last reveal.

‘F**king leave it, all of you. I want everyone gone, I’m not kidding,’ she instructed, before telling Brad to ‘get them OUT. GET. THEM. OUT. Tell them to leave! I don’t want their help.’

Brad, left with no choice, relayed her orders to their stunned tradies, who reluctantly packed up and left.

The following day, as host Scott Cam called ‘tools down’ for the final time, Kylie was noticeably absent from the celebration.

In an emotional confession on camera, she shared that she and Brad initially joined The Block for a ‘holiday,’ adding, ‘We’re always working, always being parents.’

She revealed that, unlike her husband, who runs a ‘very successful’ business, she lives ‘pay cheque to pay cheque’ and was hoping to make some much-needed money from her time on the show.

After a gruelling week, Kylie and Brad were met with criticism from the judges, who pointed out that their front yard seemed unfinished.

Shaynna Blaze noted the outdoor area required ‘more thought and planning,’ while Marty Fox commented it felt like they’d ‘checked out.’

A tense exchange erupted between Kylie and Scott Cam during feedback.

As the other contestants celebrated the week’s winners, Courtney and Grant, Kylie immediately stormed out, followed closely by Brad.

A frustrated Scott Cam attempted to call them back, only for Kylie to threaten to ‘break the f**king camera’ if the crew kept filming her, and with her dramatic exit, Kylie sealed her promise to boycott auction day.

Baker split from her husband Brad on national TV during last week, following his flirtatious comments to Mimi.
