The Block 2024
‘s Jesse Maguire and Paige Beechey have cancelled their upcoming wedding, as revealed in a leaked message to their guests.

During the September 9 episode of the show, the controversial couple sensationally quit the show due to mental health struggles.

However, during their stint on the show, fans took issue with Paige’s mistreatment of Jesse, with some even labelling their relationship as “domestic and emotional abuse”.

While the couple, who have been together for seven years and got engaged in April 2022, appeared to be going strong, Yahoo Lifestyle revealed they’d called off their December 2024 wedding.

One insider explained that the duo made the massive decision before the hit renovation show began airing in August.

“They haven’t told anyone from The Block about their relationship update, and their co-stars have no idea,” the source spilled.

The Block‘s Jesse & Paige cancelled their wedding because the ‘moment wasn’t right’

In a leaked message obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle, the Perth-based couple explained why they were no longer marrying.

“Dearest friends and beloved family, it’s with profound contemplation that we’re reaching out to you today,” the letter began.

“Life, in its unpredictable course, has presented us with unforeseen circumstances that have led us to postpone our wedding on 12 December 2024.

“Whilst we were eagerly looking forward to celebrating our love and commitment with you all, we believe it’s essential to acknowledge when a moment is not right, and this year, it’s not.”

The duo then apologised for “any inconvenience or disappointment this news may bring” and stated they hadn’t planned a new wedding date.

“Your understanding and support mean the world to us,” they wrote.

“A new date for our celebration is unknown at this time, but we will keep you abreast of any rescheduling in the future.

“We are eternally grateful for your continued presence in our lives, and we will keep you updated on everything that happens in between.”

They then signed off with “love and gratitude”.

Little is known about whether the couple will reschedule their wedding. However, they’re still believed to be together after recently telling Yahoo Lifestyle that The Block brought them “closer” than ever.
