On October 20, the former Sunrise host seemed to confirm the news on The Daily Telegraph‘s official TikTok account.

What else do we know about The Golden Bachelor Australia?
The Bachelor for single seniors was first introduced in the US in 2023. It followed Gerry Turner, 72, on his quest for love and won over the hearts of American reality TV fans.
And now, Australia’s very own rendition of the hit show will be coming to Nine in 2025. Woohoo!

And it’s a far cry from the OG version of the show. In November 2023, the Daily Mail revealed that The Golden Bachelor would move away from the drama the OG franchise is famous for.
“They’re setting the stage for a show that’s less about high-drama antics and more about genuine connection and companionship,” one insider dished. And it sounds refreshing!
