Love Island Australia 2023 winners Tyra Johannes and Kale Roberts have shared some exciting family news, and we love this for them.

After stealing the hearts of fans and each other, the lovebirds have gone from strength to strength since leaving the villa, recently celebrating their one-year anniversary.

In light of their relationship milestone, the pair, who live together on the Gold Coast, have shared some pretty big news: They’re becoming parents!

Well, dog parents!

“No one knows this yet, but we’re getting a little puppy in a month so that’ll be really fun,” Tyra told 9Entertainment.

She then joked that they were getting a toy cavoodle, which she described as the “typical Gold Coast dog”.

“I’ve never trained a puppy before so I need to get my research on. I’ve got four weeks to get my sh*t together,” she spilled.

The reality star also spilled on how the couple spent their one-year anniversary.

“Kale came from a buck’s weekend so he was a bit dusty for the one-year,” she laughed. “But we had a really cute day. We went out for dinner, had some red wine, it was really nice.”

The former Islander also reflected on her Love Island experience, stating that she’s had a “massive year of learning”.

“It has been crazy, a whole year is absolutely insane to me,” she said. “A year ago, I was working 9 to 5 in procurement and accounts. Now I’m navigating this whole influencer scene and social media world.”

“I’m someone who gives into a lot of pressure, and I care about what people think. But Kale’s the complete opposite to me,” she explained.

“It’s really good that he can bring me back down and ground me when it comes to all of that outside pressure.”

She also teased that she and Kale had some “fun times ahead”, including a trip to a country music festival in America, where they’ll reunite with co-star Andy Cosgrove.
