“It was a soul-destroying moment.”
Love Island Australia 2023‘s Zac Nunns has revealed that his former bae Lucinda Strafford cheated on him, before coming through with some jaw-dropping receipts.
ICYMI: After falling in love on national TV, the pair publically called it quits on February 11, shortly after rumours circulated that Lucinda was dumping him to appear on Love Island All-Stars. Eep.
However, after the internet found out that Lucinda was allegedly dating UK DJ Nathan Dawe, Zac spilled that she was texting him whilst they were dating.

During the latest episode of his podcast, The Trent & Zac Show, the former Islander spilled that he found out all about Lucinda’s antics when she passed him her phone on a drunken night out.
“She got a text from [Nathan] saying, ‘I hope you enjoyed the rest of your night. Talk later. X’,” Zac spilled.
However, when he opened up their chat, he found out she’d been sending him HEAPS of messages behind his back.
“I was devastated, I couldn’t believe it,” he told his co-host Trent Woolman. “I’d gone to Portugal for three days, and she’d been talking to this guy the whole time.
“He said, ‘I’m six foot five,’ and she’s like, ‘Oh, I’m five foot whatever’, and he said, ‘I want to take you out for dinner’.
“It was crazy, it was a soul-destroying moment,” he confessed. “It was a pretty bad moment in my life because I’d put all my hopes and dreams into this person.
“I was so swept up, and it all felt so real…I had a few people [warn me about her], but I didn’t want to believe it.”
What happened when Love Island‘s Zac Nunns confronted Lucinda Strafford?
When he confronted Lucinda about the texts, the UK-based reality star said she was only engaging with the DJ to better her career.
“Her excuse was, ‘He’s a DJ he plays at Wimbledon; it’s really good for my career to have him as a contact’,” Zac said.
However, when Zac pointed out that this was emotional cheating, Lucinda clapped back, saying she never “did anything physical”.

Zac also confirmed that Lucinda was planning to appear on Love Island All-Stars.
However, Lucinda and her management were allegedly “begging” Zac to “keep quiet” about it, threatening that speaking up could “ruin” her career.
“It was a really difficult position for me,” Zac confessed.
Love Island‘s Zac Nunns reveals that he was STILL speaking Lucinda Strafford in March
Zac then admitted he’d only stopped talking to Lucinda a week or two before recording his latest podcast ep, which was published on April 18.
He then dropped some damning receipts on TikTok in a video captioned, “For everyone saying I’m lying”, revealing screenshots of his texts with Lucinda.
On March 29, the influencer sent the classic “Are you up” text to Zac.
“I’m so depressed. Can you come here? It’s urgent,” she added.
He also shared a series of screenshots from a FaceTime call they had on March 28. And we never thought we’d say this, but we feel kinda bad for Zac!
Love Island’s Zac Nunns wishes Lucinda Strafford ‘the best’
Despite her antics, Zac told So Dramatic! that he wishes nothing but “the best” for his former partner.
“I hope she has a good life, and I don’t want anything but the best for her,” he said. And we’re living for this maturity!
