The LA Lakers star was approached by a fan while at an Usher concert

LeBron James’ Reaction To Fan Asking For Picture Divides Opinion

A video of LeBron James pushing a fan away while at an Usher concert has divided opinion online.

The LA Lakers star was at the concert with wife Savannah Brinson when he was approached by what appeared to be an excited fan.

In a clip shared on Twitter, you can see the bloke holding up his phone as he attempts to approach James, but before security even get a chance to intervene, he shoves the man back and walks off.

The clip has since gone viral and it’s fair to say people are pretty divided about James’ actions, with some saying it was a heavy-handed way to deal with a fan and others arguing that the basketball player is entitled to go about his life without fans jumping out at him.

Commenting on the clip, one person wrote: “This is disgusting behaviour.”

Another said: “Maybe just say ‘sorry man, no pictures tonight’?”

A third disagreed, saying: “Fans should stop running up on celebs/athletes like they’re not human beings. I’ve seen plenty of ‘famous’ people in my days and never have I ever behaved like this guy.”

While another added: “Likely shouldn’t run up on a man in the dark, in a pandemic while he’s with his family. Any respectful person would respond very similar.”

However, James is unlikely to let the opinions of a few people on Twitter upset him as he’s a pretty decent year.

As well as starring in the box office smash Space Jam: A New Legacy, which had the best three-day opening of any family movie since the pandemic started, James has also signed up to produce Adam Sandler’s latest flick.

As part of his ongoing contract with Netflix, Sandler is set to star Hustle, which tells the tale of a basketball scout who finds a superstar player abroad after being unfairly fired.

The scout decides to bring the player to the US, in an attempt to show they both have what it takes to make it in the NBA.

And who better to produce a basketball movie than James, eh?
