NFL fans are losing their minds after an image of the size difference between Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels quickly went viral.
The Chicago Bears used the No. 1 pick of 2024 (via the Carolina Panthers) on Caleb Williams, and the Washington Commanders used the No. 2 selection on Jayden Daniels. This marked the third time in four years that quarterbacks were taken with the top-two picks.
The @JayDaniels MVP X/Twitter account posted an image of Williams and Daniels standing side-by-side. The image of the two went viral because of the noticeable size difference between the last two Heisman Trophy winners:
Fans on social media had plenty of interesting reactions to this incredible image:
Caleb Williams is listed at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds on the Bears’ team website, while the Commanders list Jayden Daniels at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds.
The 23-year-old Daniels won Heisman Trophy honors in 2023 after a historic season that saw him complete 72.2 percent of pass attempts for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns and only four interceptions to go along with 1,134 rushing yards and 10 rushing scores.
As for Williams, he completed 68.6 percent of pass attempts for 3,633 yards, 30 touchdowns and five interceptions to go along with 11 rushing scores.
Caleb Williams & Jayden Daniels Meet In Week 8
Since Chicago and Washington both finished last in their respective divisions last season, we won’t have to wait long for the first meeting between Williams and Daniels. The Bears are traveling to Washington to visit the Commanders in Week 8, right after Chicago’s bye week.
Chicago’s 2024 regular season opens with a home tilt against Will Levis’ Tennessee Titans, followed by a showdown with CJ Stroud’s Houston Texans on “Sunday Night Football”. As for Daniels, he’ll make his NFL debut on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the club’s home opener taking place against the New Yor Giants in Week 2.
